In modern construction more and more standard deliverables are pre-fabricated. These deliverables may all be standardized so that while producing them their later location in the project does not really matter - It only matters how many of them are available at a certain time.

But once they are installed the deliverables actually have a fixed location in the building. Hence, our system should allow for defining the deliverable's location only on a key activity e.g. installation so that any deliverable can be installed everywhere but still a clear record of which deliverable was installed where exists.
